Artists, Dancers, Gypsies, Soul Searchers, Students & Dreamers we invite you to gather at our valley paradise for the weekend of the 23 – 25 November 2018. We will laugh, we will play, we will camp & we will dance in the forest under the stars. We aim to create a space conducive to human creativity and freedom of expression. Through music & dance we will bring our consciousness into alignment and become a united tribe. Beaming Love, Light & Positive Vibes into the universe.
Aside from music, the Festival also features a vibrant market village with healthy food and drink options & a social bar with quality craft beers and cocktails. When you’re in more of a Netflix & Chill mood we have a late night cinema, tea lounge and chill space with daily yoga classes & workshops.

Located a short 230km drive west of Byron Bay, Bohemian Beatfreaks will take place at the same Beautiful Venue as Rabbits Eat Lettuce Music Festival. The resort offers beautiful rolling hills and open camp grounds. You will love it here !
We have toilets, hot showers & water bottle refill stations around the venue for your comfort. Please respect these facilities and our beautiful venue. We are very lucky to have such a beautiful space to gather and dance in. Let's all work together to keep it beautiful and respect our planet.
There will be a TOTAL FIRE BAN in full effect during the event. Please do not attempt to light camp fires. Our security will remove any people that are found breaking the fire ban. There will be designated area for fire spinning near the Waabooz Dancefloor.
Camping for the weekend is included in the cost of your ticket. You will be camping in the Australian wilderness for 3 days so ensure you pack enough supplies to be comfortable for your stay. However please also be mindful of minimizing the waste you create. RV's & Caravans are welcome. If you don't own camping gear you can rent a pre-pitched bell tent from Wow Tents starting at $290. These spacious tents will be set up in a reserved camping area close to amenities. Bedding packages are also available. For everyone else we have made this list of things to bring to help you;
Bohemian Beatfreaks is a sustainably conscious festival. Please only bring good quality, reusable camping gear. If you can't afford to buy good quality equipment please consider renting a Glamping Tent through WOW Tents.
We ask that all guests follow these simple rules to ensure everyone at the event has an enjoyable experience;
Police will have an increased presence on the public roads surrounding the venue. They WILL be doing breath & swab testing both before & after the event. They will be searching cars. We support the efforts of the NSW Police in ensuring the safety of road users surrounding our venue. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BRING ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES into this festival. You will be caught and you give the festival a bad name.
The following items are prohibited. If found in the possession of any patron they will be confiscated immediately and the patron may be asked to leave the premises.
Leave your campsite just as you found it (a patch of clean grass). Plan ahead to bring home everything you bring in. An empty Esky makes the perfect place to pack your rubbish when leaving the event. It is your responsibility to bring your trash home after the event. Please do your part to keep our playground tidy during the event. Use the Bins provided. If you see people tossing litter on the ground kindly remind them where the bins are. Leave it Better. Leave it Beautiful.
Gates open at 9:30 am Friday 23 November 2018. Please do not arrive before this. Free Camping is available at The Whiporie General Store down the road from the venue. You are welcome to camp there on Thursday night before the event. All Patrons must leave the venue by Monday at 12 noon.

It is a party after all, so best to leave your street clothes at home and bring costumes that amplify the fun. However you are free to wear what ever you like or as little as you like. Costumes with lights that shine or sparkle at night are even better!
Anyone under the age of 18 MUST arrive with a legal parent or guardian. No exceptions. So if you really want to come you better twist your dads arm and bring him to the doof. Your parents can assign temporary legal guardianship to another person 18 years or older. Your parents will need to write a signed note on a photo copy of their driver license. e.g. [All written on a photo copy of your parents driver license] Dear Rabbits Eat Lettuce I, _”Parent Full Name”_ [Driver License # ] hereby confirm that I have appointed _”Full Name of Temporary Legal Guardian”__ to be the legal guardian for my (son/daughter) _“full name of son/daughter”_____ from the 23rd November until the 26th November 2018 with the understanding they will be attending Bohemian Beatfreaks Festival with this appointed guardian. No. However we will do you a special discount and sell you a ticket for $150 if you were born on the 23, 24 or 25 November. You must have an Australian Government issued photo ID (or International Passport) & one other form of ID to claim the discount. Bring your ID + $150 cash to gate.
YES. Like all approved events our venue has a strict capacity. If ticket sales reach that capacity no further tickets will be sold. Better to be safe than sorry and lock it in.
Yes, you are allowed to bring alcohol into the event and campground, however NO GLASS is permitted, so ensure you get beverages in cans or decant your spirits into stainless steel or plastic containers. Do not bring excessive amounts of alcohol.
Yes, you are able to camp with your car, however all vehicles will be subject to a car pass which will be charged at $40 on arrival. Car Pooling is good for the environment & your wallet 🙂
YES. There will be Hot Showers available at the venue. Shower use will cost $2 per minute to help cover the cost of trucking in the water, electricity and the rental of these facilities. They accept $2 coins so stock up before you leave town.
YES. We were very happy to find out that we could get an ATM to work at our remote venue.
This festival is a camping festival, you can bring a tent, motor home, camper van or caravan. You are able to camp with your car in the campground. If you don’t have access to any camping equipment you can rent a Glamping Bell tent & bedding through Wow Tents. These will be set up in a reserved camping area before you arrive. Our Onsite Camping Upgrades Include; Luxury Bell Tent Bell Tent with Mattress & Bedding Bell Tent with Foam Mattress Bell Tent w BYO Everything. Powered RV Site.
NO. It’s time to unplug, unwind and enjoy the moment. We do however have WiFi available for purchase at the Info Tent in case you need to contact the outside world.
Most definitely! Decorating your camp with pretty battery powered or solar lights & flags makes finding your camp at night so much easier, plus it adds to the ambiance and vibe of your area, the prettier the better! We will be giving prizes away for the best camp setups at the festival.
YES. We have installed water bottle refill stations throughout the venue.
YES. We will have bags of ice for your esky for sale at the event.
YES. We have hand picked some of our favorite food vendors to come and provide healthy meals for all you beautiful people.
NO. Any glass found will be confiscated. Security will search cars on entry.
NO. Our venue is deep in the valley so sound does not escape into the real world. Music runs 24 hours at this event, so be prepared to dance the night away.
YES. Blow Me First will have Swab and Breath testing services available. We recommend testing your self before leaving the venue to ensure you are safe to drive. There will be a police presence on the local roads surrounding the event. Expect to be checked.

Following the success of The Rabbits Hotel @ Rabbits Eat Lettuce 2018, we’re bringing the magic to Bohemian Beatfreaks 2018. Arrive to Doofville in style to our pop-up festival hotel boasting cosy canvas accomodation, reception/chill out lounge, make up area and friendly staff to assist you. We may even have some renegade sets from local artists if we’re lucky! We have a couple of different tent options for you. Our basic, economy option is an empty tent, so all you have to do is bring your own sleeping mats and bedding. The next level up will offer a foam mattress and bedding options. We will also have a deluxe option which will be the full shebang consisting of real bed, memory foam mattress, superb fixtures and interiors including bed and floor cushions and fabrics – and power for a fan and to keep your phone charged! All our tents have fly screen doors, LED fairy lighting, carpets and zippable ground sheets as standard so you can open up the tent and enjoy a breeze in the shade on those steamy summer mornings.
